The Fryer Flicks on the Hill series is one of Grove City's favorite summertime events. The films will be projected every Thursday through July on a large inflatable screen after dark on the sledding hill at Fryer Park! Pack a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a great lineup of classic films. You can bring your own snacks (as long as there is no glass) and additional refreshments will be available for purchase.

NightLight 614 takes movie night up a notch with local food trucks, craft beer and wine, and a spectacular view of the Columbus skyline! This 21+ Thursday night series continues throughout the summer and is a must-attend event if you're in the area. The 2018 schedule includes classic flicks like The Breakfast Club, The Devil Wears Prada and Almost Famous. Check their website for details and the full schedule!

Zoombezi Bay Waterpark should be on your list of fun summer activities, but you'll get a special after-dark treat if you choose to go on select dates in June, July and August! The park will stay open late (until 11 pm) for a special cinematic experience featuring some of your favorite family-friendly flicks. Although you do have to pay admission to get in, the movies are a free addition — and we definitely recommend staying to see the Wave Tides Wave Pool transform into an outdoor theater! The South Drive-in Theater was built back in 1950 when drive-in theaters were thriving. Though there were many more in the area and around town back then, the South Drive-in is one of only two drive-in theaters that remain open. The theater plays the latest flicks on a giant screen and allows you to enjoy them from the comfort of your own car in an old-timey setting. It's a charming destination for date nights and family outings alike. Bonus: The South Drive-in Theater is also the site of a Saturday flea market — the equivalent of 200 yard sales and garage sales in one central location. Get there early to get the best deals!
